By teaming up with major brands in the fresh produce industry – Dole, Sunkist, Rainier, Fresh Express, Delmonte, Driscoll, Franklin Farms, and others – we maximize our capability at the regional produce markets and form direct relationships with growers. Seven to eight hundred fresh and dry produce items, depending upon the season, are maintained in AG New England’s Produce program, from traditional product to new and exotic fruits and vegetables from around the world.

AG New England’s Produce Express Program offers introductory special reduced pricing and immediate delivery on new produce items. This is an excellent tool for stores with produce departments interested in being on the cutting edge of offering new items to their customers. It also allows retailers to test the response to new produce items with the added incentive of increased margin.

The Produce Department also offers allied items such as peanuts, popcorn, dressings, fresh juices, fresh-cut fruits, organic produce and organic dog biscuits. The Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Floral Program brings the color, fragrance and impulse sales of fresh-cut flowers to stores.

We work directly with local farmers and regional buying markets, as well as growers on the West Coast and even in Chile. Freshness and quality are assured by careful receiving, expert handling, proper storage, continuous re-inspecting and ultimately shipping under the most ideal, climate-controlled conditions of our state-of-the-art Distribution Center.
